Hamilton Central Baptist Church Membership
We warmly invite those who consider Hamilton Central Baptist Church their spiritual home to become formal members as a sign of their commitment. Membership is for committed followers of Jesus who have declared Him as their Lord and Saviour. It connects you with our diverse church community, enriching your journey of faith and fostering a sense of belonging. Becoming a member allows participation in leadership roles and voting at church meetings. It signifies a biblical commitment to mutual belonging, accountability, pastoral support, and service. A true relationship with Jesus naturally leads to partnership with others in the church community.
Membership Process
To become a member, start by making a request to join. Your name will be published in the bulletin, and the elder board will appoint a representative to visit you. During this visit, they will introduce you to the church and explain ways you can get involved. Once approved by the elder board, a formal welcome is arranged during a church service. While we emphasize believer's baptism, the elder board may accept members with different baptismal practices if they demonstrate a strong faith in Jesus Christ. Our church Constitution includes a Membership Pledge that outlines the commitments of membership.
